General Motors (GM) has issued a recall for specific 2023-2024 Cadillac LYRIQ all-wheel-drive vehicles due to a defect in the anti-lock brake system (ABS). GM’s investigation into this issue began in May 2024 and confirmed the defect after reports of minor accidents potentially related to the ABS software issue. The company is not aware of any injuries or fatalities associated with this defect. GM plans to notify dealers and owners in August and September 2024, respectively.
