GBSC Announces Three New Members

The Global Brake Safety Council’s membership and influence continue to grow as is evidenced by the simultaneous introduction of its three newest members.

The GBSC’s current Chairman, Scott Lambert said: “We are very excited to start working with our newest members on a variety of opportunities to help extend our growing influence and presence. These gentlemen are first-class brake professionals with very diverse skill sets that further enhance our council’s ability to ensure ethical manufacturing and brake safety.”

About Carlos Agudelo

Carlos is Director of Advanced Technology Development for LINK Engineering. He is Chairman of the SAE Brake Dynamometer and the SAE Vehicle Dynamics Standards Committees, and Vice-Chairman of the SAE Brake Lining Standards Committee. He is active (Chairman or member) on SAE, ISO, and UNECE/GRPE/PMP Committees and task forces.

About Alexandre Casaril

Alexandre has a strong background in materials engineering, with a MSc and Doctorate in the area. With 13 years working as a researcher and development engineer for friction materials at Fras-le, he is currently the Chief of Engineering & Innovation. He leads R&D&I activities which are going to define the next generation of technologies and products Fras-le will offer to markets globally.

About Jason Janssen

Jason has served the aftermarket brake industry for the past 11 years in various roles in sales, operations, and management. He currently holds the position of General Manager at ABS Friction, a Canadian based, premium brake pad manufacturer.
