Enhancing Manufacturing Agility
The investment in new equipment and automation modernizes one of the company’s main production lines for commercial vehicle brake pads. This initiative is designed to increase manufacturing agility and efficiency.
“This allows us to be more agile in manufacturing, through more modern and sustainable processes, expanding our ability to act promptly to the constant technological updates and applications of our products,” explained Alfredo Lorenzoni, Global Commercial Line Director at Frasle Mobility.
Preparing for Future Market Demands
The upgraded facilities are already producing new product lines, such as the Fras-le EHnergy brake pads. These pads are made with ultra-resistant materials formulated for the unique temperature conditions of electric vehicles, ensuring durability and performance during sudden braking.
“These investments are aligned with our vision for the future, which honors a cutting-edge legacy,” noted Guilherme Adami, Executive Director of Braking at Frasle Mobility. Adami emphasized that the company is proactively preparing for market shifts, including the growing demand for electric vehicle components, the transition from drum to disc brakes in trucks, and future emissions regulations.
