Scope of Recall

The recall specifically targets multiple models like the 2022-2024 Starcraft Allstar MVP, 2018 Starcraft Candidate II, and 2023-2024 Champion Challenger among others. This widespread recall is due to manufacturing discrepancies where the brake lines were not adequately secured during assembly.

Manufacturer’s Response

Forest River Bus has arranged for dealers to inspect and secure the brake lines free of charge. Owner notification letters are scheduled to be dispatched by May 15, 2024. Additionally, vehicle owners are advised to contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 for more information or visit www.nhtsa.gov.

The defect was first identified by the supplier, L&W Engineering, and promptly reported to Forest River’s Office of Corporate Compliance.
