FMSI has announced its Board of Directors and Officers for 2024-2025 following elections held during the FMSI Brake Weekend™ event.
- Chairman: Skip Carroll, Momentum USA Inc.
- Vice Chairman: Jason Lang, ADVICS
- 2nd Vice Chairman: Greg Vyletel, First Brands Group
- President: Frank Oliveto
- Treasurer: Bill Carney, FDP Virginia
- Secretary: Steve Bird, NuCap Industries
- New Board Members: Rafael Di Buono, Fras-le and Earl Gesh, Masu Brakes
The new Chairman, Skip Carroll of Momentum USA Inc., will serve a two-year term, succeeding outgoing Chairman Mark Phipps of Bosch.
FMSI, founded in 1948, is a trade organization known for creating the standard part numbering system for brake and clutch facings. The organization continues to uphold its registered trademarks, FMSI and FMS, under the Friction Materials Standards Institute.
