Halo By Orthene, a division of Orthene, continues to strengthen its presence in top-tier motorsport through a partnership with EXCELR8 Motorsport’s British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) team. Known as the world’s largest specialist producer of brake fluid, Orthene’s Halo P1 has quickly become the choice for EXCELR8’s quartet of drivers, praised for its superior pedal feel and fade resistance during race conditions.

This strategic adoption has led to remarkable results on the track. After seven rounds, EXCELR8 has achieved 14 podium finishes, including five wins. These successes have propelled the EXCELR8-run Team BRISTOL STREET MOTORS squad to second place in the Teams’ Championship standings, while 2022 champion Tom Ingram holds a narrow lead in the Drivers’ Championship.

Halo P1, a cutting-edge motorsport brake fluid, was developed in-house by Halo By Orthene, a UK-based leader in brake fluid manufacturing since 1976. Offering the highest typical dry boiling point of 341°C (646°F) and exceptional incompressibility, Halo P1 ensures unparalleled consistency in pedal feel and performance, even under extreme conditions. Despite its recent launch in January 2024, Halo P1 has already been adopted by over 60 major motorsport teams worldwide, including those in GT and Endurance racing, NASCAR, and touring cars.
