Brembo, a global leader in braking systems, has partnered with Lucid Motors to equip the Lucid Gravity SUV with advanced brake calipers, ensuring superior performance for this high-powered electric vehicle. This collaboration highlights Brembo’s commitment to innovation and efficiency, aligning with Lucid’s engineering excellence. The Lucid Gravity, boasting 828 horsepower in its Grand Touring version, benefits from Brembo’s high-performance braking technology, designed to deliver precision and reliability.

The Lucid Gravity’s braking system includes six-piston front and four-piston rear monobloc calipers, which offer greater stiffness and improved pressure distribution compared to floating calipers. This design enhances braking feel and response, particularly during high-performance driving. The calipers are paired with low-metallic brake pads that provide strong initial bite and consistent stopping power. Brembo also supplies a lightweight electronic parking brake caliper, further optimizing the vehicle’s efficiency.
Brembo’s Enesys technology in the rear calipers minimizes friction between brake pads and discs, reducing energy waste and emissions while extending pad life. This innovation supports Lucid’s goal of maximizing efficiency without compromising performance. The lightweight calipers also contribute to a longer vehicle range by reducing unsprung mass.
