Bendix To Hold Ride-and-Drive in Cincinnati

CINCINNNATI, Ohio–Bendix will hold a regional ride-and-drive technology demonstration in Cincinnati, Ohio, as part of the 2019 season of its popular demo program.

WHEN/WHERE:   April 9-11: Edgewater Sports Park, 4819 E. Miami River Rd., Cleves, Ohio 45002.

DETAILS:            Any fleets and dealers in the demo area are welcome, as well as drivers and driver trainers. Please note that advanced registration is requested. At each OEM-specific event taking place during the multiday demo, participants receive a firsthand view of advanced technologies in action – in real-world scenarios that drivers encounter daily, helping them better understand the performance and value these technologies can deliver for their fleet.

On Thursday afternoon, a dedicated driver trainer/driver training session is planned. Following a short classroom session, attendees will move to the track to log time in the trucks – including behind the wheel – with Bendix demo drivers. The demo closes with a question-and-answer period facilitated by Bendix’s technology experts. Experiencing technology with Bendix experts helps drivers and driver trainers better understand why alerts and interventions happen on the road.

Bendix demonstrates the full spectrum of its tractor- and trailer-based safety technologies, including the flagship advanced driver assistance system, Bendix® Wingman®Fusion; and the industry-dominating Bendix® ADB22X air disc brake. 2019 will also showcase the accessibility and scope of the new Bendix® Retrofit Upgrade Program; air dryer technologies, including the PuraGuard® oil-coalescing air dryer filter; as well as the Bendix® Intellipark automatic parking brake technology.
