Porsche Chooses PAGID Racing for One-Make Series

LEVERKUSEN, Germany — The 2022 Porsche Carrera Cup North America continues to rely on PAGID Racing: as a result of the partnership between the globally operating braking specialist and the prestigious North American one-make series, all the Cup cars will be equipped with PAGID Racing brake pads in the 2022 season.

PAGID Racing is the exclusive brake pad supplier for the 2022 Porsche Carrera Cup North America Presented by the Cayman Islands.

The Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars compete in all events of the one-make series with PAGID Racing brake pads for maximum braking performance.

With the partnership, PAGID Racing and Porsche continue a long tradition: since 1986, four and therefore nearly all model ranges have been equipped with PAGID Racing brake pads. The PAGID Racing engineers responded to the changed requirements for this year’s model range with powerful brake pads that convince with a combination of bite, friction, excellent controllability and modulation.

The Porsche Carrera Cup North America ranks among the most important one-make series worldwide. In the 2022 season, the participants compete for the coveted championship points with identical Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars, all the newest type 992 generation. The drivers will participate in a total of 16 rounds at eight racetracks in the U.S. and Canada. The season-opening event is held at the legendary Sebring International Raceway from 16 till 19 March.
