MJAllen Automotive Adds New Products, Brands

SOMERCOTES, U.K. — MJAllen Automotive has outlined its strategy for the future as its new-look team plans to unveil new brands and products in the automotive aftermarket.

Headed up by managing director, Les Kershaw, operations manager Julian Rose, commercial manager Colin Downie, and commercial director Wayne Hodgkisson, MJ Allen Automotive, home to the National Auto Parts brand, plans to extend all current ranges of aftermarket components, including pads, discs, wheel hubs and calipers. The company will also create a greater emphasis on its automotive engineering, as part of parent company, MJ Allen Group.

The business has spent a number of months re-positioning itself in order to positively demonstrate the scale of the automotive company and also the strength in depth MJAllen Automotive has as part of the wider group of companies.

MJAllen Group is a third-generation, family-run engineering business that comprises separate businesses, including MJAllen Automotive. Other companies within the group specialize in metal casting, precision machining, structural metalworking and automotive engineering, further boosted by an automotive research and development sector, responsible for all-terrain, agricultural and consumer driveline systems.

MJAllen Automotive managing director, Les Kershaw, said: “With the flexibility to supply either proprietary or ‘own brand’ programs, we are probably one of the best kept secrets in the trade, given the scale of what we offer to the market. Our expertise in engineering and R&D, along with 40 years’ experience in the automotive aftermarket, means we are perfectly positioned to support our customers across the world.

“The automotive aftermarket is evolving at a great pace and it’s important that there is confidence throughout the supply chain. MJAllen Automotive sets the benchmark for investment in manufacturing and engineering and these will be key to our growth in the coming years.”

More brands and products will be added in the coming months, in-line with the company’s aim of being the best go-to option as a vehicle parts supplier.
