Knorr-Bremse strengthens its digital aftermarket strategy with the acquisition of TRAVIS Road Services International, expanding its ecosystem of connected fleet services across Europe.

Knorr-Bremse has announced the acquisition of TRAVIS Road Services International B.V., a leading Dutch online booking platform for commercial vehicle road services. The deal, valued in the mid-double-digit million-euro range, marks a key step in the company’s strategy to create a holistic, digitized aftermarket ecosystem. The transaction is expected to close by the end of Q1 2026.

Advancing a Holistic Aftermarket Strategy

According to Bernd Spies, Member of the Executive Board of Knorr-Bremse AG and responsible for the Commercial Vehicle Systems division, the TRAVIS acquisition marks the next phase in digitizing and integrating aftermarket services.

“With the acquisition of TRAVIS, we are taking the next step toward a holistic and digitized aftermarket ecosystem. At its core is the goal of increasing the efficiency of repair and maintenance processes for commercial vehicles along the entire value chain,” said Spies.

He added that Knorr-Bremse aims to unlock the full potential of digital services for its customers, creating added value for workshops, fleets, and drivers while strengthening partnerships and daily operational efficiency.

Expanding in Digital and Data-Driven Solutions

The move reinforces Knorr-Bremse’s commitment to the rapidly growing online service platform market. Since 2022, the company has held a majority stake in Cojali S.L., a leading Spanish diagnostics provider. Together, these investments position Knorr-Bremse as a comprehensive digital solutions provider, enhancing fleet uptime and operational transparency.

TRAVIS Road Services International B.V. provides a seamless digital platform for fleets to find, book, and pay for services such as truck parking, washing, charging, and repairs. With more than 2,500 service partners in 26 European countries, the company has established itself as a trusted digital hub for commercial transport operations.
