STANSTED, U.K. – Government regulations and rail-industry lessons for the automotive world will be themes presented during the keynote presentations at EuroBrake 2021, one of the largest annual gatherings of the brake-industry.

Originally planned for Mainz, Germany, this year’s program will be held May 17-21 on a computer-device screen wherever registrants choose to participate as the continued impact of the global pandemic forces it to be a virtual event.

EuroBrake is delighted to announce an additional rail theme running in 2021, with three technical sessions, one keynote speaker and one panel session all devoted to hot topics in the global rail industry.

The final agenda will be published in early May 2021.

Duncan Kay, U.K. Department for Transport will present “Regulation Activities for Brake Emissions” in one of the keynotes while Dr.-Ing. Stefan Dörsch, DB Systemtechnik, will present: “What can the automotive braking community learn from rail, and vice versa? Some thoughts about electric cars and autonomous driving.”
