This $360 million transaction, the largest in Frasle Mobility’s history, positions the company as a dominant player in the automotive aftermarket across Latin America, particularly in Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina. The newly acquired operations will operate under the name Dacomsa.
Key Highlights:
- Strategic Scope: The acquisition includes KUO Refacciones’ brands Moresa, TF Victor, and Fritec, along with two engine parts production plants in Guanajuato and friction material plants in Mexico City.
- Product Portfolio: Frasle Mobility’s expanded portfolio now includes pistons, gaskets, brake pads, and brake shoes, catering to light and heavy vehicles, motorcycles, railway cars, and even aircraft.
- Market Integration: Dacomsa will continue serving local distributors with a diverse range of undercar and powertrain products, leveraging its extensive sales and distribution network.
- Global Expansion: The acquisition increases Frasle Mobility’s international exposure to 55% of its business, solidifying its presence in critical markets such as the United States.
“This integration allows us to combine market-leading brands with proven success. Our goal is to strengthen Dacomsa’s foundation and continue advancing in both the Mexican and global aftermarket sectors,” said Hemerson de Souza, Frasle Mobility’s Business, M&A, and Investor Relations Director.
