The company’s strategic environmental efforts are part of a global initiative led by its parent company, Knorr-Bremse, to minimize environmental impact through waste reduction, energy efficiency, and emission reduction projects.

“We’re honored to achieve the Green Building Challenge distinction for our Avon headquarters,” said Maria Gutierrez, Bendix senior director of environmental, social, and governance (ESG). “This building is a transformative facility that works better for the environment, and just as important, for the Bendix team members who walk through its doors every day.”

A robust recycling program, high-efficiency plumbing fixtures, and the promotion of electric vehicles are among the notable environmental efforts undertaken by Bendix. The headquarters provides 28 parking spaces for electric vehicles and has installed additional charging stations to meet growing demand.
