Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC (Bendix) has unveiled its 2024 schedule for brake school sessions. These sessions, a blend of in-person and virtual classes running from March to November, are designed for fleet technicians, owner-operators, and other industry professionals aiming to bolster their maintenance skills for commercial vehicles.

  • In-person and virtual classes: Bendix will conduct 15 in-person classes across seven states and three virtual sessions.
  • Comprehensive training: The courses cover a wide range of topics, from air brake systems to advanced technology training.
  • Expert-led instruction: Classes are led by experienced, ASE-certified technical trainers.
  • Safety and technology focus: The training emphasizes the importance of safety components and technological advancements in commercial vehicles.

Bendix’s technical training courses are crucial for maintaining the safety, performance, and efficiency of commercial vehicles. With over 50 years of commitment to quality education, Bendix ensures that technicians are well-equipped to handle the evolving challenges of the industry. The use of air boards and comprehensive coverage of collision mitigation technology are among the unique aspects of these training sessions.

Training Sessions and Registration Details: The 2024 lineup includes the popular three-day Air Brake Training class and the Advanced Technology Training program. The Air Brake Training, starting March 19-21 in Avon, Ohio, sets the industry standard for air brake systems education. The Advanced Technology Training, with its first session on April 16-17 in Avon, delves into the operation and troubleshooting of advanced safety systems.

Registration is open, with costs varying by course type: $475 for Air Brake Training, $425 for Advanced Technology Training, and $375 for virtual classes. Class sizes are limited to ensure a quality learning experience.
