Braking and Tires:
The WRX tS comes equipped with a high-performance Brembo braking system, featuring 6-piston front and 2-piston rear calipers in signature gold color, along with larger pads and rotors. This system provides enhanced stopping power, fade resistance, and improved pedal feel. Additionally, the tS is fitted with 245/35 R19 Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires for superior wet and dry grip and braking performance.
Drive Mode Select:
This feature, previously exclusive to the WRX GT, includes electronically controlled STI-tuned dampers. It allows drivers to tailor the vehicle’s dynamic performance to their preferences with Comfort, Normal, and Sport settings.
Exterior Design:
The latest generation WRX features a wide-body design for an aggressive stance and bold look. Highlights include Subaru’s signature hexagonal grille, compact headlights, a broad front hood scoop, and character lines that emphasize the vehicle’s strength and performance. Exterior elements like foldable mirrors, roof-mounted shark fin antenna, and rear spoiler are finished in Crystal Black Silica for a distinctive appearance. The rear deck lid features the tS badge and rear taillights inspired by volcanic magma. The WRX tS rides on 19-inch multi-spoke wheels in a satin gray finish.
Interior Features:
Inside, the WRX tS boasts an all-new 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster with improved legibility and additional information display capabilities, including map display and route guidance. The interior also features blue accents on the seat bolsters, steering wheel, door panels, and shifter trim, along with the iconic STI logo on the ignition start button. For weight savings and increased headroom, the power moonroof has been deleted.
The WRX tS includes Recaro Performance Design front seats, providing increased support for performance driving. The seats are wrapped in black Ultrasuede with contrasting blue accents, and the “WRX tS” logo is embossed on the front headrests and carpeted floormats. The driver’s seat offers 8-way power adjustments.
Multimedia and Safety Technology:
The vehicle comes standard with the latest SUBARU STARLINK 11.6-inch Multimedia Plus system, featuring a high-definition touchscreen for multimedia, climate control, and vehicle settings. The system includes wireless Apple CarPlay®, wireless Android Auto™, AM/FM/HD Radio, Bluetooth, a rear vision camera, and SiriusXM®.
Safety is enhanced with EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, which includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking, Lane Departure and Sway Warning, and Lead Vehicle Start Alert.
Performance:
The WRX tS is powered by a 271-horsepower, 2.4-liter turbocharged Subaru BOXER® engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. It also features Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and Active Torque Vectoring as standard.
The 2025 Subaru WRX tS will debut at the Wicked Big Meet at Stafford Motor Speedway in Connecticut, marking the start of the annual SubieEvents enthusiast series. Pricing details will be announced later this year.
