Industry veteran Nick Hayes, UK Sales Manager for Car at TMD Friction, was recognized for his outstanding achievements with the prestigious Outstanding Achievement award at the 2023 Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) Awards.
Hayes’ career in the automotive aftermarket spans over two decades, with prior experience at Express Factors, Unipart, Autogem, and MAFCO. Now, after nearly 21 years at TMD Friction, he’s leaving an indelible mark as he prepares for retirement at the end of 2023.
The award ceremony, held by the IAAF, saw Kayleigh Bradley of Glen Callum Associates and Mark Field, Chief Executive of the IAAF, present the accolade to Hayes. They highlighted the outpouring of praise from colleagues and customers, all commending his warmth, kindness, and dedication to building strong relationships.
