LINK Adds Business Unit Director in Mexico

Link Engineering Company is excited to welcome Cristina Casimiro as our new Business Unit Director of Latin America. Based out of Mexico, Cristina will be our main point of contact for the region, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge with her. As we continue to expand our business in Latin America, we are confident that Cristina will further our presence and be a strong supporter and resource for our growing customer base in Latin America.

Cristina obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the National University of Mexico and a Master of Science in Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. Her more than 25 years of experience spans from Information Technology, to running her own consulting firm, to experiences in the manufacturing industry, including her role as Operations Director at one of Mexico’s largest friction material producers, FRITEC.  

To stay connected and at the forefront of the industry, Cristina is also involved in a variety of societies and committees in the industry, including the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), Brake Manufacturers Council (BMC), Friction Materials Standards Institute (FMSI), Mexican National Autoparts Industry (INA), and the Mexican Institute of Normalization and Certification (IMNC). She has also been a board member for BMC and FMSI.
