iDBC²: a Revolutionary 2-Box Braking System

UNTERFÖHRING, Germany — iDBC²:, a cooperative venture of LSP IAS and BWI group, posted the following recently on Linkedin about their braking technology:

In cooperation with the manufacturer BWI Group- Beijing West Industries, LSP developed a technology perfectly suited for series applications today as well as in the future, the revolutionary brake system iDBC²: compact, expandable and already suitable for autonomous driving.

A milestone in braking technology, the X-Boost technology in the iDBC² reaches an even higher level than predecessor systems. It can be used to implement advanced driver assistant systems (ADAS) up to level 3 and higher, and its performance meets VDA360 specifications from 1 to unlimited.

iDBC² harmonizes with other vehicle technology such as chassis control and the ECU of #ADAS. Moreover, the system is already ready for the future, because with brake-to-steer and brake-to-torque vectoring, further VMC functionalities can be easily implemented and enabled.
