Icer Takes Silver Medal from IGMA

MADRID, Spain–The Innovation Gallery of Motortec Automechanika Spain awarded Icer with the “Silver Medal” in the category of Maintenance Components for introduction the Icer e² Brake Line.

In recognizing Icer for the award, the IGMA noted the following innovations:

  • 100 % Galvanized steel backing plates. No paint, no glue, using galvanized steel ensuring 100% anti-corrosion technology.
  • Use of 100 % NRS Mechanical Retention. Ensuring a perfect bonding between the friction material and the backing plate.
  • Use of 100 % copper-free new friction material: Specially developed for electrical applications.

The result of integrating those innovations is a line of brakes that are highly resistant to corrosion and have attachment between friction material and steel backing plate that cannot fail. This results in a brake pad that cannot be compromised by corrosion and one that will NEVER experience
delamination.

Icer is very excited with the launch of this line and believes this award will help to make distributors, garages, and drivers conscious of how important is to launch an ecological product for the new era electric vehicles.
