Brakes Plus and City Garage Merge

CENTENNIAL, Colo. — Brakes Plus and City Garage have announced they have joined forces to continue building a leading automotive services brand in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area.

With the addition of these City Garage locations, the company will now operate 42 stores across Texas, with more than 140 automotive service locations across the U.S.

The merger was finalized Monday, Mar. 6, 2023.

The Galleria store at 6161 Alexis Drive in Dallas and the Village Creek store at 6301 Independence Parkway feature new company signage.

Remaining stores will transition to company’s branding over the next year, operating as “City Garage by Brakes Plus” locations during the interim.

Customers will continue to receive the same great service and value that City Garage and Brakes Plus have both been providing respectively since the 90s.

“Both Brakes Plus and City Garage have a long heritage of providing friendly service and great value for customers’ automotive service needs, making this merger a natural fit,” said RJ Pisciotta, Executive Vice President, Operations for Brakes Plus. “We will work together to serve all customers with superior products, a knowledgeable team, and our continued commitment to quality.”

The company expects to retain all retail store employees, in addition to hiring additional positions to support all operations as a result of the merger.
