Brake Engineering Expands Remanufactured Caliper Range

Brake Engineering has introduced 24 new remanufactured caliper part numbers for a wide range of vehicles. The expansion highlights its commitment to quality through a rigorous 10-stage process and OE-level testing.

Brake Engineering has expanded its remanufactured braking range with the introduction of 24 new part numbers. This latest expansion covers an extensive range of caliper applications, reinforcing the company’s commitment to quality, broad vehicle coverage, and sustainable manufacturing practices.

Key Highlights

  • Introduction of 24 new part numbers for its remanufactured brake caliper line.
  • Expanded coverage for popular manufacturers including Fiat, Citroën, Vauxhall, and Land Rover.
  • All calipers undergo a rigorous 10-stage remanufacturing process at its Wrexham facility.
  • Each unit is rebuilt with 100% brand-new wearing components and passes stringent testing.

Expanded Vehicle Coverage

The latest additions to the product line feature both left- and right-hand fitments designed for front and rear axles. This expansion provides coverage for a wide selection of popular vehicle manufacturers, including Fiat, Citroën, Peugeot, Vauxhall, Opel, Renault, Hyundai, SsangYong, and Land Rover.

Rigorous Remanufacturing and Quality Assurance

Each caliper undergoes Brake Engineering’s meticulous 10-stage remanufacturing process at its Center of Excellence in Wrexham, which meets ISO international quality standards. All accepted core units are fully dismantled and rebuilt with 100% brand-new wearing components, such as pistons, seals, sliders, and circlips. The company utilizes CNC multi-spindle machines to ensure precision in the production of pistons and sliders.

To guarantee high performance and longevity, every caliper is finished with a protective electroplating process. Before being released to the market, each unit must pass stringent OE-level multi-stage high- and low-pressure testing.

Upholding Industry Standards

This continued range expansion follows an independent competitor testing campaign conducted by Brake Engineering. The campaign identified 29 structural and mechanical defects across three rival brands, reinforcing the importance of selecting trusted, quality remanufactured components.
