SAF-HOLLAND Group, a leading supplier of components for trucks and trailers, has reached a new milestone in Türkiye. The company recently launched a new production line at its Düzce facility, marking a significant expansion of its manufacturing capabilities in the region.

The Düzce facility has been a key part of SAF-HOLLAND’s operations since 2016, producing Trailer Axle and Suspension Systems. In December 2023, the company celebrated a major achievement by producing its 250,000th SAF axle in Türkiye, highlighting the facility’s importance and success.
Now, SAF-HOLLAND is taking another strategic step by adding a new production line for Haldex ModulT Air Disc Brakes. This is a noteworthy development because it is the first time the company is producing disc brakes outside of Sweden in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region. The new production line, named “Tellus” (Latin for Earth), symbolizes the company’s commitment to building solid foundations and achieving sustainable growth.
The addition of the Air Disc Brake production line is expected to meet the growing demand for high-quality braking components in the truck and trailer industry. By localizing production in Türkiye, SAF-HOLLAND aims to better serve its customers in the region and strengthen its market position.
In addition to the Air Disc Brake production, SAF-HOLLAND plans to start manufacturing fifth wheels at the Düzce facility later this year. This expansion demonstrates the company’s confidence in Türkiye as a dynamic and capable industrial hub. It also creates new job opportunities in the region, contributing to the local economy and reflecting SAF-HOLLAND’s long-term commitment to investing in Türkiye.
The launch of the new production line was attended by Turkish Trailer customers and representatives from TREDER Treyler Sanayicileri Derneği, the umbrella association for trailer manufacturers in Türkiye. SAF-HOLLAND expressed gratitude for their continued support and partnership. The company also highlighted the exceptional teamwork between its Swedish and Turkish teams, which was crucial in making this project a success.
