NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — Jon Morrison, previously president of WABCO Americas and now CEO of J&M Strategic Insights LLC, has been tapped by Phillips Connect as strategic executive. In this engagement, Phillips Connect will draw on Morrison’s extensive experience in electronic vehicle control, electrification, vehicle telematics and advanced technologies to move Phillips Connect ahead as they significantly grow their market share in smart trailer solutions.

Morrison was president of WABCO from 2006 through its acquisition by ZF in 2020. He has extensive global leadership experience with key competencies including strategic leadership, finance, P&L, organizational and leadership development.
His vehicle and product technology knowledge and market understanding will be integral in directing Phillips Connect through the next phase of its growth.
Morrison has also held board positions with the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association, Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITSA) and the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI). He is currently a member of the Noregon Systems Advisory Board.
