Wilwood’s BMW E36 M3 Lug-Drive Road Race Big Brake Kits

CAMARILLO, Calif. — Wilwood Engineering has released Wilwood Lug-Drive™ road race brake kits for the 1995-1999 BMW E36 M3 feature 13.00 inches or 14.00 inches front rotors with six piston calipers, and 13.00-inch rear rotors with four piston calipers.

Engineered explicitly for BMW M3 to increase brake torque, minimize pad taper and reduce fade at the extreme temperatures caused by high-speed road racing in classes using factory spindles.

Lug-Drive dynamic mounting the rotor simplifies assembly and allows for rotor heat expansion independent from the hat, eliminating distortion.

Rigid forged aluminum calipers evenly spread clamping force and reduced deflection, while Thermlock™ pistons provide a heat barrier between pad and fluid. Wilwood’s proprietary Spec37 iron alloy GT series slotted rotors with staggered, directional vanes provide high friction, and high-efficiency cooling.

Superlite caliper front and rear kits with 13.00-inch rotors fit inside many 17-inch and larger wheels, and Aerolite 14.00-inch kit provides greater brake torque and thermal capacity and fit under most 18-inch and larger wheels.

These kits have a starting MSRP at $2,748.71.
