Wilwood Adds Big Brake Kits for Honda Talon

CAMARILLO, Calif. — Wilwood has expanded its new UTV (utility-task vehicle) product line with these floating-rotor, multi-piston big brake kits for 2019 and newer Honda Talon side-by-sides.

Six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers with larger floating rotors improve braking performance and fit most 15” or larger wheels.

Fixed-mount, opposed-piston, forged-aluminum calipers give balanced clamping with reduced

deflection for more braking force. Larger diameter rotors, 11.25 inch x 0.25 inch (285mm x 6mm) provide greater brake torque, while the increased thickness reduces heat distortion.

Dynamically mounted floating rotors prevent piston knockback from bumps and reduce thermal stress. High-strength steel rotors are available plain faced or drilled. Calipers are available in glossy red or black powder coat, or 22 additional color options (additional charges may apply).

The kits have a starting price of $1,414.91 per axle.
