A cool June morning at Nutts Corner Circuit in Northern Ireland set the stage for Trackstar 2024, where 100 participants were welcomed by the rumble of high-performance supercar engines. Held in partnership with FG7, the event celebrated speed and rewarded those who trust Allied Nippon.
Trackstar 2024 was eagerly anticipated, especially after the buzz from the 2023 event. FG7 customers who found a coveted golden ticket in their Allied Nippon braking product were in for a treat with some of the world’s most revered performance cars.
The event featured 10 high-performance cars, including a Lamborghini Huracan, Ferrari 458 Spider, Porsche GT3 RS, and a new McLaren Artura. The Volcano Yellow McLaren, the marque’s first hybrid supercar, stood out among the lineup.
As the day progressed, the sunshine enhanced the vibrant colors of the supercars, including the Verde Mantis Green Lamborghini Huracan, Ara Blue Audi R8 V10+, and Giallo Modena Yellow Ferrari 458 Italia. The afternoon session ramped up excitement with Supercar Experience Ireland’s BMW M3 ‘Drift Taxi’ offering three-person passenger experiences, filled with tire smoke and sideways action.

Off the track, guests were welcomed into a marquee with two VR racing simulators. Donning VR headsets, participants competed to set the best lap times, with prizes for the top five. The driver in pole position won a unique, custom Allied Nippon JBL speaker.
Paul Hone from Premier Car Parts described Trackstar as “a fantastic day out,” while Dale Thompson, Belfast branch manager at Colin Adams Motor Parts, thanked the organizers: “It was great of Allied Nippon to bring us out here and let us have a go!” Kieran Orr from Alec Orr Motor Factors praised the McLaren Artura as “the best by far; it’s not even close! It’s the fastest!”
Kevin O’Kane, FG7 managing director, expressed his delight: “Trackstar was a huge hit in 2023, and there was genuine excitement at its return in 2024. This year’s event was bigger, better and exceeded all expectations.”
Leigh Davies, General Manager for Marketing and Communications at Allied Nippon, added: “We were thrilled to be back for another round of high-speed action with Trackstar 2024. It was a hugely successful and rewarding day at Nutts Corner. Our partnership with FG7 is hugely important for our brand, and it was terrific to see so many of its members and their Allied Nippon buying customers.”
