Standard Motor Products, Inc. (SMP) has announced an expansion to its Electronic Parking Brake Actuator program, offering increased coverage for a wide range of import and domestic vehicles. As parking brake actuators become increasingly prevalent in modern vehicles, Standard® aims to provide comprehensive solutions for the automotive aftermarket.

Standard® has recently added new coverage for a variety of popular vehicles. This includes Ford models such as the 2023-22 Escape, Bronco Sport, Maverick, and 2024-23 Super Duty trucks. Coverage has also been extended to the 2024-22 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2024-22 Ram ProMaster, Mercedes-Benz vehicles through 2023, Subaru vehicles through 2024, as well as Mazda, Audi, Volkswagen, and General Motors vehicles.
Each Standard® Parking Brake Actuator undergoes extensive testing in SMP’s New York laboratory and at its Testing Center in Texas, ensuring durability and optimal performance under various conditions. This rigorous testing process guarantees that the actuators meet the high standards expected in the automotive industry.
