SVENDBORG, Denmark — The central supplier of brake pads and rotors for the motorcycle and SxS industry, SBS Friction A/S will celebrate Christel Munk Pedersen’s (Chief Sales Officer – CSO) 25th anniversary with the company at the end of the month.

Peter Dieckhøner hired Pedersen in 1996 even though there was no vacancy. Simply put, he saw the potential in her. Pedersen has therefore had a lot of influence in defining her role and she has done so with great success. Lately, with a significant role in the acquisition by Italian Brembo.

Thus, it was a logical outcome that Pedersen should take over the role of CSO at the turn of the generation when Dieckhøner retired. Partly because she possessed the strategic abilities to understand the complexity of the motorcycle market and, not least, to create good relationships with customers. Relationships that have maintained and added a large and loyal customer base, which has given the SBS brand a significant position in the industry and increased revenue significantly over the years.

Pedersen was hired as a line manager for the company’s customer service department.

Over the years, she has evolved to be among the most essential people in the motorcycle safety industry. Not least because Pedersen’s personality, commitment, and ability to communicate in many languages give her opportunities to create good relationships with decision-makers and in many cases also professional friendships.
