JURATEK Expands Product Team

DONCASTER, U.K. — Braking brand JURATEK has strengthened its product management team with the appointment of Ross Williams, who will oversee the development and launch of new brake disc and drum products.

Williams joins as a new product manager, bringing a wealth of experience in the automotive industry to JURATEK from a range of areas and positions including vehicle technician, vehicle damage assessor and technical complaint manager.

Williams, who joins JURATEK from a similar role at a wiper blade manufacturer, will be responsible for all areas of product management across the JURATEK brake disc and drum categories.

Matt Leeming, marketing manager at JURATEK said: “It’s great to welcome Ross to the company as we look to expand our product team following the Fras-Le acquisition. His experience, knowledge and skill set will provide value to the brand as we continue to develop and launch additional products in our high-end braking portfolio.”

I’ve worked in the automotive sector since leaving school and my knowledge and skillset built up over my career should stand me in good stead at JURATEK.

“After meeting Matt, and Toby Whewell [JURATEK sales and marketing director], at an industry event, I decided it was a great time to join the company as they continue to evolve.”

JURATEK has been involved in the development of high-quality braking components for passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, buses and coaches, since 1995, and is now one of Europe’s leading suppliers. The brand specializes in brake discs and pads, plus surcharge free brake calipers and hydraulics.
