Frenkit Inc., a renowned specialist in manufacturing and distributing brake components, has officially announced the appointment of Andy Mayfield as the Executive Vice President and General Manager. This significant appointment took effect on January 22, 2024. Mayfield’s primary focus will be on the expansion of Frenkit’s distribution network and customer base across the North American Independent Aftermarket (IAM).

Mayfield’s extensive experience of over 25 years in leadership roles within the automotive aftermarket positions him as an ideal choice for this role. Prior to his new position at Frenkit Inc., Mayfield had a noteworthy career at International Brake Industries, culminating in his role as President. His professional journey also includes significant stints in sales leadership at Gearbox Holdings, Illinois Tool Works, and Robert Bosch LLC.

The Co-CEO of Frenkit, Andrés Sendagorta, expressed excitement about Mayfield’s joining the team. Sendagorta remarked, “We are really excited to have Andy onboard. We are sure his experience and leadership will take Frenkit Inc to the next level in the US.”
