The Farizon SV, an electric commercial van by Farizon Auto, has achieved a Platinum safety award from Euro NCAP, securing 85 points and earning a place among the safest vans ever tested. This accolade also establishes Farizon as the top-ranked Chinese electric commercial vehicle brand in Euro NCAP ratings. The vehicle is set for sales and customer deliveries in the UK starting in the first half of 2025.

Key Highlights

  • Impressive safety performance: Farizon SV scored 95% in the AEB active braking function test and achieved perfect scores in Lane Support Systems (LSS) and Occupant Status Monitoring (OSM) categories.
  • Recognition for advanced technology: The van features a born-electric and drive-by-wire platform, offering increased cargo space, extended range, and enhanced driver comfort.
  • Upcoming launch in the UK: Three vehicle lengths, three heights, and two battery options (67 kWh and 83 kWh) will be available at launch, with a 106-kWh battery option to follow.

A New Benchmark in Safety

Euro NCAP, known for its rigorous crash testing standards, extended its ratings to include commercial vans in 2021. Since then, over 95% of commercial vehicles in the European market have been assessed. The Farizon SV excelled in key safety domains, including precise recognition and swift responses to pedestrian and bicycle crossings, as well as longitudinal driving conditions. The van’s active safety performance solidifies Farizon Auto’s commitment to advanced user-focused technologies.

UK Partnership and Future Plans

Farizon SV is being introduced to the UK through a collaboration with Jameel Motors, a global mobility solutions leader. According to Andy Carroll, Country Manager for Jameel Motors Farizon Auto, “The Farizon SV was designed and engineered to meet or exceed European standards in every regard, including safety, and this result is testament to the rigorous testing and development process undertaken by the Farizon team.”

The van will launch with three lengths and heights, tailored to diverse business needs. Full UK specifications and pricing will be announced closer to the sales date. This safety milestone, coupled with its advanced engineering, positions the Farizon SV as a compelling choice for fleets and van users seeking top-tier safety and reliability.
