Wilwood Expands Chevy Impala Fitment With Larger Front Brake Hub Kits

Wilwood Engineering has introduced two new larger front brake kits for the 1965-70 Chevy Impala, featuring 12.88” and 14.00” rotors to accommodate most 17” and 18” wheels. These new kits join the existing lineup for the 1959-70 Impala, which includes 11.00” and 12.19” rotors.

• Spec37 iron alloy rotors: E-coated, available in GTB slotted or SRP drilled and slotted faces
• MSRP starting at $2,316.15

Wilwood’s new complete bolt-on performance brake kits are designed for front OE Impala drum or disc spindles, featuring the brand’s competition-proven radial mount Superlite 6R (FNSL6R) or Aerolite 6 (AERO6) six-piston calipers. Both caliper models are made of rigid, forged aluminum with one-piece stainless steel pistons, housed in Type III hard anodized bodies with high-temperature seals. Available colors include Competition Red, Gloss Black, and 24 additional options for an extra charge.

The high-performance Spec37 iron alloy rotors are E-coated and come in GTB slotted or SRP drilled and slotted faces, with 48 or 72 directional curved vanes. The forged GT aluminum hats provide strength while reducing weight, and machined billet hubs with screw-on aluminum caps mount directly to OE spindles. Wilwood’s BP-10 SmartPad street performance brake pads offer smooth and consistent response with extended wear, with other compounds available as well.

MSRP for the new brake kits starts at $2,316.15.
