EV Startup BYTON and Bosch Join Forces

Bosch is teaming up with Chinese-backed electric vehicle startup Byton. Bosch will assist Byton with powertrain, brake, and driver assistance systems.

Byton recently announced that it had secured $500 million in funding. It has been road-testing its electric vehicles in China. The company plans to sell cars in China in 2019 before reaching the U.S. and Europe in 2020.
