Enhanced Braking in BMW's Latest Models

The bespoke aerodynamic, interior, and suspension retrofit products specifically designed for the new BMW 5 Series Touring and the BMW i5 Touring enhance not only the vehicles’ dynamic and athletic appearance but also their functionality. The integration of these components from the Original BMW Accessories program means they are already approved with the vehicle’s homologation, negating the need for additional registration.

The exterior M Performance Parts not only create distinct visual enhancements but also meet functional requirements in lightweight construction and aerodynamics. Notably, the three-part M Performance Carbon front splitter asserts a refined sportiness, improving the dynamic driving potential by increasing downforce.

Enhanced Braking System: The BMW models feature an M Performance 20-inch brake system, which stands out with its red-painted brake calipers marked by the four-color M logo. This system is designed to significantly reduce braking distances, featuring six-piston aluminum fixed calipers at the front and single-piston floating calipers at the rear. The use of large, internally ventilated, and perforated M Performance lightweight brake discs increases thermal resistance and delivers robust braking power under harsh conditions.

Interior Upgrades for a Racing Touch: Inside the BMW 5 Series Touring and BMW i5 Touring, the M Performance enhancements bring a racing-inspired atmosphere. Highlights include M Performance Carbon door sill trims and sporty floor mats with leather-look edging and BMW M colors. The M Performance key case—crafted from Alcantara and high-quality leather—echoes the vehicle’s dynamic capabilities.

For those interested in personalized touches, the M Performance light alloy wheels, available in sizes ranging from 19 to 21 inches, offer both summer and winter configurations, ensuring that the vehicles perform exceptionally in all conditions.

These comprehensive enhancements underline BMW’s commitment to delivering both sportiness and functionality, with a significant emphasis on the innovative braking systems that contribute to both safety and driving pleasure.
