What makes these hoses stand out? They’re built to last and perform. Each hose meets or exceeds strict industry standards, such as SAE J1401, FMVSS 106 DOT, and ISO3996. The secret lies in the construction: a core of PTFE (Teflon®) tubing wrapped in woven stainless steel 304 braid, topped with a durable blue PVC layer. This design protects against dirt and grime while preventing hose expansion under intense pressure. According to Bendix, the steel braiding—though not mandatory under SAE J1401—delivers a firmer, more consistent brake pedal feel, a difference drivers can notice on the road.
