Akebono Adds 27 Part Numbers in First Half

DETROIT, Mich.–Akebono closes out the first half of 2019 with a total of 4 new part number announcements, comprising of 27 part numbers; 11 Pro-ACT®, 13 EURO®and 3 in the Akebono Performance® line.

The new parts cover various late-model applications from Buick, BMW, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Fiat, GMC, Honda, Hyundai, Jeep, Kia, Land Rover, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mini, Ram and Volvo. When applicable, premium 301 stainless steel hardware is included in the Pro-ACT and Akebono Performance kits, this also holds true for the EURO line; many of which also include electronic wear sensors.

In December Akebono launched almost 200 new disc brake kits, enhancing existing applications with new part numbers that add hardware to ALL of our most-popular applications. More information found here.

All of the above material includes the latest test data, illustrating performance and competitive comparisons, including, but not limited to:

  • Stopping power
  • Pad and rotor wear
  • Roughness and judder
  • Overall performance
