VARALLO, Italy — Tosi F.lli is will supply its SIRIT™ RTC (release tube concept) Quick Coupling push-in technology to Knorr-Bremse, a global market leader of braking systems and other systems for rail and commercial vehicles.

Both the Trailer EBS Module (iTEBS X) and the chassis suspension module (CSM) for conventional and electro-pneumatic air suspension systems, will be equipped with SIRIT RTC technology.

An innovative assembly system will provide all tube connections integrated in the iTEBS X and CSM avoiding the traditional sets of fittings. The solution is the result of an accurate engineering and rigorous tests to bring a relevant advantage in terms of space and weight.

RTC push-in connectors include an environmental O-Ring protection from dust, dirt, salt and other polluting agents, offering the highest performance and safety standards. A state-of-the-art level that guarantees the best possible available push-in solution for Air Brake Systems.

RTC means “Release Tube Concept” — the possibility to extract the tube from the fitting with a dedicated tool that allows flexibility during the assembly process and easy maintenance to connected devices.

SIRIT™ is the Air Brake Fittings brand from Tosi F.lli s.r.l.

The privately owned Italian Firm Tosi F.lli was founded in 1967. In January 2000 Tosi F.lli acquired the company SIRIT and, in many years of activity, developed both products and market distribution.
