SMP Expands Parts Coverage with 186 New Additions

Standard Motor Products (SMP) announces 186 new part numbers in June, covering 58 distinct product categories and 45 part numbers for 2023 and 2024 models. Key highlights include advancements in collision repair components, emission control systems, and significant additions from Four Seasons®.

Key Highlights:

  • Collision repair program: Includes Lane Departure System Cameras, Blind Spot Detection Sensors, and Park Assist Cameras.
  • Emission control expansion: Adds EGR Valves, EGR Control Solenoids, and Engine Crankcase Breather Hoses.
  • Four Seasons® additions: 112 new part numbers, including 76 Hose Assemblies and several Evaporators.

Collision Repair Expansion SMP’s collision repair program has been significantly enhanced. The release features Lane Departure System Cameras for General Motors trucks and SUVs, Blind Spot Detection Sensors for nearly half a million Volkswagen vehicles, and Park Assist Cameras for various Toyota Prius models. Additionally, Park Assist Sensors are now available for the 2022-20 Nissan Rogue and 2015-13 Kia Optima. Parking Brake Actuators have been introduced for Mercedes-Benz vehicles through 2023. This update also includes ten new Center High Mount Stoplight Assemblies, covering nearly 4 million Ford vehicles, the 2016-12 Honda CR-V, and popular Mercedes-Benz models. Other newly released components include ABS Speed Sensors, Liftgate Motion Sensors, and Power Window Switches.

Emission Control Enhancements Standard® continues to expand its internal combustion engine (ICE) categories. The Emission Control program now includes EGR Valves for 1.2 million General Motors SUVs, EGR Control Solenoids, Coolers, and Tubes. Additional components like Engine Crankcase Breather Hoses for Ford vehicles and Oil Filter Housing Assemblies for 2019-15 Ford Transit vans have also been added. Oil Pump Solenoids are available for General Motors SUVs, such as the 2024-21 Chevrolet Trailblazer, and Turbo Boost Pressure Solenoid Filters for Ford vehicles like the 2020-11 F-150 and 2021-15 Expedition.

Four Seasons® Introduces New Parts Four Seasons® has released 112 new part numbers. This includes 76 new Hose Assemblies, covering over 6.4 million vehicles. Notable additions are Discharge Lines for the 2020-17 Ford F-250, Suction and Liquid Lines with IHX for the 2022-18 Jeep Compass, and Suction Lines for the 2023-18 Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator. New Evaporators are available for vehicles such as the 2023-20 Nissan Sentra, 2021 Nissan Rogue, and late-model full-size General Motors SUVs.
