DULUTH, Ga. – John Kim has been promoted to Director of Sales & Business Development of Sangsin Brake America, according to Kiwon Hoe, President of Sangsin Brake America.

“I am very pleased to announce John’s promotion and I congratulate him on his new role,” said Hoe. “His service and experience with Sangsin Brakes, coupled with his love of cars and the automotive industry, makes him a great fit to manage Sangsin Brake America’s current customer base and grow our business.”

Since joining the company in 2018, Kim has served as a Senior Business Development Manager at the company’s offices in Duluth, Ga. Throughout his tenure, Kim has leveraged his fluency in Korean and English to communicate seamlessly with Sangsin Brake’s North American manufacturing facility and the company’s corporate headquarters in South Korea.

He also works closely with Sangsin’s factories around the world to provide the best possible service and satisfaction to customers.

Prior to joining Sangsin Brake, he spent several years in retail sales and management – including working at Broadway as an Assistant Manager in the warehouse before transitioning to sales – which provided him with extensive logistics, inventory, and sales skills. Kim earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech.

“I appreciate the opportunity that Sangsin Brake America has given me,” said Kim. “Not only is it great to work in Georgia, where I have lived since I was five years old and can be close to my family, I’ve learned a great deal from my colleagues here, and I look forward to staying in this great industry for a very long time.”
