SHANGHAI, China–Link Engineering Company (LINK) is happy to welcome Jim Lefflbine as new Managing Director of LINK China, effective May 2019. To meet customers’ growing needs within the region, Jim will oversee all of LINK China’s activities – including equipment sales, testing services, and service support.

Jim joins LINK with a strong background in Business and Operations Management and will be key in positioning LINK’s local team to successfully navigate the ever-changing and evolving market in China.

“China is a critical market for LINK. Jim aligns well with our culture and values, and we are confident he will lead our team to reach the aggressive growth goals we have set within the region,” says Adam Link, General Manager and Technical Director, Plymouth, Michigan.

Jim most recently served as the Director of Global Operations at STEMCO, while also spending the last ten months serving as their China Business General Manager. He is eager to utilize his extensive experience in operations and manufacturing to advance LINK China. “I look forward to getting to know the team in China. The growth potential in this area is exceptional, and we have a lot of untapped resources we can cultivate. Building a strong team is what makes a business truly successful,” Jim said.

Jim will spend a few weeks at the corporate office in Plymouth, Michigan, to align with LINK’s leadership team before he relocates to Shanghai in June.
