Frasle Mobility Bolsters UK Warehouse Network

Frasle Mobility, a prominent entity in the global aftermarket, has significantly expanded its warehouse facilities across the UK and Northern Ireland. This strategic move aims to bolster growth, elevate customer service, and adapt to evolving market demands. The expansion is set to enhance holding capacity, facilitate further development of its brand and product offerings, and optimize distribution throughout the UK and Ireland.

Key Highlights

  • Expanded Warehouse Network: Frasle Mobility’s UK warehouse network now encompasses three locations: Doncaster, Bradford, and Northern Ireland.
  • Increased Holding Capacity: The expansions are designed to boost inventory holding capacity, supporting the growth of its brands and product lines.
  • Enhanced Distribution: The larger facilities will enable smarter and more efficient distribution across the UK and Ireland.
  • Doncaster’s Growth: The main UK site in Doncaster spans 60,000 sq. ft and houses over 800,000 units across 4,500 individual lines from Juratek, Fras-le, and Nakata, with further expansion planned.
  • Bradford’s Expansion: The Bradford site, dedicated to Abtex products, has grown to 20,500 sq. ft, holding over 230,000 units across more than 3,800 lines.
  • Northern Ireland Hub Development: The Northern Ireland distribution hub has added a new mezzanine floor, increasing its footprint by 2,647 sq. ft. This site now uniquely stocks all four brands: Juratek, Fras-le, Nakata, and Abtex.
  • Focus on Agility and Speed: Toby Whewell, Sales and Marketing Director for Frasle Mobility in the UK, emphasized that the expansions are about agility, speed, and future readiness, promising faster delivery and reduced lead times.
  • Self-Sufficient Delivery: Frasle Mobility’s own delivery fleet services the Northern Ireland market daily, aiming to reduce reliance on third-party logistics and cut emissions.
  • Future Growth: The company anticipates the launch of its Nakata steering and suspension range in 2026, further underscoring the need for scalable warehousing.

Frasle Mobility’s main UK facility in Doncaster currently measures 60,000 sq. ft and accommodates over 800,000 units from the Juratek, Fras-le, and Nakata brands, spanning 4,500 individual product lines. Plans for further expansion at this site are slated to commence next year. The Bradford facility, which is central to Abtex products, has expanded to 20,500 sq. ft, now stocking over 230,000 units across more than 3,800 different lines.

A significant upgrade has also been completed at the Northern Ireland distribution hub, where a new mezzanine floor has been introduced, adding an extra 2,647 sq. ft of space. This enhancement has been crucial for accommodating the Nakata wheel bearings, which launched in the UK market in April. As a result, this Northern Ireland facility is now the only UK site to stock all four of Frasle Mobility’s brands: Juratek, Fras-le, Nakata, and Abtex.

Toby Whewell, Sales and Marketing Director for Frasle Mobility in the UK, stated that these expansions represent more than just increased space; they signify an investment in agility, speed, and future readiness. He highlighted that more inventory held locally will enable faster delivery, reduced lead times, and greater availability of essential parts for customers. As the company’s product portfolio continues to grow, these infrastructure investments are key to scaling operations efficiently while maintaining a customer-first approach.

Furthermore, Frasle Mobility’s own delivery fleet provides daily service to the Northern Ireland market. This strategy helps to reduce dependency on third-party logistics, decrease emissions through localized distribution, and strengthen customer relationships by offering reliable same-day or next-day delivery options. The company also noted increasing interest in its Nakata steering and suspension range, which is expected to launch in 2026, further emphasizing the necessity for flexible and scalable warehousing solutions.
