Roush F-150 Raptor Gets New Performance Brakes

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Roush Performance  has given the 2020 Ford F-150 Raptor a performance brake package, fresh styling and new options.

Available to order now, the 2020 Raptor gains newly designed 18-inch and all-terrain tires, as well as a custom interior.

The main addition is the Roush High Performance Front Brake Package by Alcon which includes black six-piston calipers embossed with a silver Roush logo as well as upgraded 13.7-inch rotors and high friction pads.

All these are said to provide greater stopping power and reduced fading during longer stints of spirited driving.

The tuner has also added heavy-duty off-road tie rods specifically designed for the 2020 F-150 Raptor in order to improve overall steering and responsiveness.

Also new for 2020 are the 18-inch Satin Gray Split Spoke Wheels that come with integrated black trim rings and an extra set of red-trim rings. They new rims come wrapped with trail-ready 35-inch General Tire Grabber A/TX Tires for all-terrain traction and “a quiet, comfortable ride on the street.”

The list of standard components for the performance truck also includes a Roush Axle Back Exhaust System with five-inch tips and newly integrated puddle lamps that light-up the ground with the the company’s “R” logo when the driver unlocks or enters/exits the truck.

Inside, this customized Raptor offers premium black leather with red stitching, suede bolsters, debossed logos and the custom Roush gauge cluster. Customers who purchase the Ford Recaro package also get Roush embroidered headrests. New options for 2020 include the Roush Retractable Aluminum Bed Cover (with optional bed cargo manager add-on) and Roush Chase Rack with Dual Rigid Light bars. Prices for the 2020 Roush Raptor start at $16,500 above the price of the base F-150 Raptor.
