Frasle Mobility Continues U.S. Growth

PRATTVILLE, Ala — Frasle Mobility has been promoting record investments in units located in the United States during the past several years.

Innovation, expansion of production capacity and reinforcement of teams all are aimed at expanding the company’s operations in North America, consolidating its leadership in the supply of original brake linings for automakers and advancing market share for originals and replacement commercial pads in the U.S. markets and Canadian.

Customer service, with the expansion of sales teams and relationships with partners, in addition to a reinforced product and field engineering structure, has as its central focus the expansion of the level of service offered by Frasle Mobility. In this way, the company seeks to further improve the customization of the solutions offered according to the culture and needs of each client.

Over the last two years, the industrial plant located in Prattville, Alabama, received an important investment cycle, on the order of $8 million. Of the equipment acquired, the highlight is a new automated linear press for the production of brake pads that came into operation, enhancing the manufacturing capacity of ADB pads, with advanced technology, greater precision and safety.

“This investment is a record for the history of the manufacturing plant, where we have been present since 2008. We hope to increase the number of components produced per year by more than 500,000 at the plant, which currently works with an installed capacity of 1.7 million pieces”, explained Ivan Bolsoni, Frasle Mobility’s Business Director for the U.S.

Frasle Mobility has been present in the U.S. for approximately 30 years, with market leadership in the brake lining segment for commercial vehicles, expanding the presence of Fremax brand brake discs, and maintaining strategic partnerships with major players in the international auto parts.

In addition to the industrial unit in Alabama, it has a commercial office in Michigan.

Fras-le air (ADB) and hydraulic (HYD) brake pads and brake linings are available on original equipment (OE) and aftermarket parts markets in the U.S. and in more than 100 countries.

Manufactured with high quality, copper-free raw materials, the products are made up of specific formulas for each application in commercial and off-road vehicles, such as trucks, tractors, trailers, buses, implements, as well as other markets, such as for aviation and industrial tarpaulins.

Fremax Brake Discs complement the product portfolio, which was recently reinforced by the new Maxcoating line, coated with paint that contains exclusive and patented nanotechnology.

“The focus on product lines that are increasingly suited to the needs of the North American market, with innovation and superior quality, enhances our expansion planning in this strategic market for the company, sustaining leadership in the supply of original parts and supporting the strategy of advancing in the original and local replacement market,” said Anderson Pontalti, COO of Frasle Mobility.
