Group Brand & Marketing Manager (Europe), Sam Robinson, said: “We’re delighted to become a member of the IAAF. A fantastic body that works tirelessly championing our industry and securing its future for all involved. This was particularly well demonstrated at the brilliant IAAF conference held at the end of 2022 that we were honored to attend, and we look forward to helping support the IAAF’s continued vital work.

“We have a vast range of products within First Brands Group, therefore there’s a wealth of incredible knowledge we can offer, as many products in the group are OE fitment for vehicle manufacturers, as well as innovative products we’ve introduced into the aftermarket.

“With the rise of electric vehicles and new technology coming into independent workshops, our industry is at a very interesting point and it’s vital that we have an organization that can be our voice to the public.”

As a new member of the IAAF, First Brands Group will have access to many of the federation’s benefits, including entry to industry networking events and insights into the IAAF’s lobbying activities to protect the automotive aftermarket.

Mark Field, IAAF Chief Executive, said: “It’s great to see more and more automotive businesses seeking out IAAF membership as part of their business development and marketing activity. We’ll continue to support our member businesses to ensure they have a strong voice where it matters.”
