Continental Hires New Texas Plant Manager

Continental has announced the appointment of Brandon Lane as the new Plant Manager for its New Braunfels, Texas facility, a significant component of the company’s global network. Lane, an experienced leader with over 30 years at Continental, steps into his role at a pivotal time for the New Braunfels plant, which focuses on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) production. The facility, opened in September 2022, plays a crucial role in the Autonomous Mobility business area and has already created over 400 jobs.

Lane, who started his career at Continental in 1993, has served in various capacities including industrial engineering and production management. His last position before this new assignment was as Plant Manager and Head of Location in Frankfurt, Germany. Lane expressed his enthusiasm about his return to the U.S. and his commitment to the New Braunfels team: “I am excited to return to the U.S. and lead the talented team in New Braunfels,” he stated. “I am committed to building on the incredible progress and excellence that has been fostered and to ensuring we continue to deliver high-quality products to our customers around the world.”
