Brembo Unveils New Products at EICMA Show

CURNO, Italy – Brembo introduced several new braking products for the two-wheel world this week at the 2019 EICMA (Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessor or the Milan Motorcycle Shows).

Two calipers – one for the street, the other for the racetrack – were unveiled at the annual show.

Brembo is expanding its range with Stylema®R, the latest innovation for the super sport bikes of tomorrow.

Stylema®R, with its sculptural, compact and ventilated shape, is light and high performance. The caliper has the technical characteristics and design of a product destined to set new standards.

As the R version of the well-known Stylema® caliper, its name underlines and references the world of racing.

Joining the GP4-caliper family is the redesigned Brembo GP4-rr, the ultra-high-performance monobloc racing caliper. Its updating includes a new look.

Designed for track enthusiasts and those who want something truly innovative from their motorbike calipers, the Brembo GP4-rr takes its inspiration from the monobloc caliper developed for MotoGP and makes it available to the general public, exclusively for use on the track.

New master cylinders for street and track

Street and track motorcycle master cylinders were also launched at the show.

Brembo PR19

The PR19 has several new features and a new design. As part of this, thePR19’s (16mm diameter) connections to the reservoir have an updated layout in order to assist self-bleeding.

In addition, the lever has been designed to optimize ergonomics and reduce weight. It is also available in a version that has the camshaft adjustment positioned so it can be operated even with a handguard on the handlebars.

The extremely compact signal microswitches are also new, as are the small axial rubber dust boot and the mounting position of the reservoir support.

The brake master cylinder is installation-ready for an MCS lever, thereby giving the rider the option of changing the distance in order to adapt it to his or her own riding style.

The design of this new PR19 radial master cylinder  features all the stylistic elements used for the products in Brembo’s RCS Corsa Corta, family – further highlighting the racing-derived nature of this new component.

Brembo 16RCS Corsa Corta master cylinder

Speaking of the RCS Corsa Corta range, Brembo expanded it by introducing the new 16RCS CORSA CORTA: an innovative motorcycle clutch master cylinder featuring technical solutions already adopted in MotoGP.
