FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – This week Akebono Brake Corporation expanded its EURO Ultra-Premium Disc Brake Pad line by five part numbers: EUR1692A, EUR1892A, EUR1892B, EUR1898 and EUR1898A and ProACT by one new part number: ACT2168. Electronic wear sensor and premium stainless steel abutment hardware is included in the kits that require it.

This week’s release includes ProACT brake pads with premium stainless hardware for the Buick Encore & Chevrolet Trax. EURO brake pads with electronic wear sensors add coverage for Land Rover Defender, Discovery and Range Rover, BMW X3, X4, 330i and 330 xDrive, Audi A6 Quattro, A6 Allroad, A7 Sportback, Q5, Q5 PHEV, SQ5, A4, A4 Quattro, A4 Allroad, A5 Quattro, A5 Sportback, RS5, RS5 Sportback, S4, S5 and S5 Sportback.
