PLYMOUTH, Mich. – ADVICS, the leader in advanced braking technology for the automotive aftermarket, received the Automotive Communications award for Best B2B Website during the Women in Auto Care awards program at the 2020 Virtual AAPEX Experience.

These prestigious awards, given on November 3, 2020, recognize companies for their outstanding advertising, marketing and public relations efforts in the automotive aftermarket.

The ADVICS website, custom-designed and built by MBE Group, a full-service marketing communications agency based in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., features a modern user experience with enhanced electronic catalog capabilities and immersive, responsive product pages. Filled with robust technical content for professional repair technicians, the website also supports a full SEO (search engine optimization) program managed by MBE Group.

“Our website plays a huge role in how we communicate with the industry, technicians and distributors,” said Fumiko Higa-Bales, branding and supply chain manager, aftermarket. “We’re thrilled to receive the award for best B2B website, as it shows just how effectively we have been able to tell the ADVICS brand story through a functional, user-friendly and well-designed digital experience.”

The website features a unique parts lookup tool which utilizes an easy-to-use year-make-model search with cross reference (XREF#) technology. This feature, and the entire site, is optimized for full functionality on desktop and mobile viewing experiences. In the first year of the site’s launch, as compared to the same period from the previous year, the website effectively delivered content users were searching for and captured their attention, illustrated by the following statistics:

•    191-percent increase in pages-per-session
•    67-percent increase in average time per session
•    3-percent total bounce rate (normal range between 20 percent-40 percent)
