CYPRESS, Calif. – Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA is recalling 1,375 2019-2020 model year Skeeter ZXR, FXR, WR,ZX,WX,SX and Solera Series Trailers because the caliper assembly could come loose and adversely impact braking.

According to federal National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Part 573 Safety Recall Report 20V-778: “On affected trailers, the slide pin(s) which secure the brake caliper assembly in position over the brake rotor could become loose under normal operating conditions {allowing the brake  caliper not to function as designed} and cause loss of control that could result in a crash.”
